What time does the Festival site open?
Positivus Festival site is open from 12.00 noon on Friday 20th July. You must leave the site by the end of the Festival on Sunday morning 22th July.

Can I buy Festival tickets at the entrance?
Yes, you can purchase the tickets at the main entrance to the Festival site either by cash or card.

Do I have to purchase tickets for children?
Children 10 years of age and younger are admitted for free, if accompanied by an adult with a valid Festival ticket. An adult must accompany children under 14 years old at all times.

Where can I leave my children to play?
There will be a special kindergarten on the Festival site called Kids Island. Ask for directions at the information tent or look for it on the outdoor Festival site maps.

Can I leave the Festival site as often as I want to?
Yes, as long as you’re wearing a valid Festival wrist band, you can leave and enter the site as many times as you want to. Wristbands will be checked at the entrances as well as on the site, you must wear the wristband at all times.

What can I do if my wrist band has fallen off/been lost/is broken?
If the wristband is lost, regarded as invalid or broken (e.g., cut, sewn or has a broken security lock), you have to leave the Festival site immediately and purchase a new ticket. Upon entrance into the Festival site you will be provided with a new wristband. Forged, broken or loose wristbands that could fall of your wrist are considered invalid.

Can I take photo and video camera on the Festival site?
You are not allowed to take professional video and photo cameras on site. Only accredited media individuals, whom have obtained media accreditation from the Festival Media office, can use professional video and photo equipment.

Can I bring my own food and drinks into the Festival site?
You are not allowed to bring any food or drinks into the Festival site.

Are there ATM machines available on the Festival site?
Yes, there will be one Nordea ATM on the festival grounds and another one outside the territory but we advise you to take along cash enough to provide for all your needs. Other ATMs in Salacgriva can be found in Statoil on Viļņu Street 4, as well as on Ostas Street 1 and Rīgas Street 2.

Can I pay by card in the Festival site?
Yes, but not everywhere.

What can I do if I become sick or get an injury during the Festival?
If you need medical or first aid attention make your way to one of the two medical units near the entrances to the Festival site.

Where can I check for lost and found?
You can hand in found items or check for the lost items at the information tent located near the main entrance to the Festival site. After the Festival lost and found will be stored with the organisers for a set amount of time. E-mail your enquires to info@positivus.com, and we’ll do our best to help you.

Where can I camp?
You can camp in the Festival Camping site. You are not allowed to camp (I.E. build your camping tent) in the Festival site or in the car-parking area. However you are allowed to sleep in your car.

What is the price of Camping site?
The price of the Camping site is LVL 4.50 for each person staying in the tent regardless the number of the days/nights spent there.

What time does the Camping site open?
Camping site is open from 5PM on Thurday 19th July until 3PM on Sunday 22th July.

Where can I store my personal belongings in the Camping site?
There won’t be property lock-ups in the Camping site so don’t leave essential valuables like cameras, phones, money, car keys, etc. in the tent. Only bring what you can afford to lose. Be careful about where you hide your valuables when sleeping: you may not hear someone enter your tent, so separate your money and valuables into small amounts and hide them in different places in your tent. Generally Positivus is a very relaxed and friendly festival.

Are there any showers and toilets in the camping area?
Yes, WC is free of charge. The showers are available for a small charge.

Where can I park my car/van/camper?
There is a special Parking site on the other side of the Via Baltica (the main road) – look for signposts on arrival. There is a limited number of special parking places for campers with electricity.

How much does the parking cost?
You have to pay LVL 2.00 every time you enter the parking site in your vehicle. Special camper parking with electricity costs LVL 15.00 (You have to buy a camping wristband for each person staying in the camper as well).

 

Can I camp near my car?
Due to safety reasons camping in the car-parking site is strictly forbidden.
